Type tests

All technical data specified, such as current ratings and temperature rise, insulation resistance, voltage and short circuit withstand, have been certified in accordance with international standards ( IEC, VDE or BS ) by the independent testing stations K.E.M.A. , LABORELEC , LCIE. Assembled elements with cast junctions were submitted for type testing.

Factory tests

Prior to shipment, all elements are subjected to the following tests :

• Low Voltage systems : insulation resistance measurement and voltage withstand
• Medium Voltage systems : voltage withstand, insulation resistance and partial discharge measurement

Test reports

Copies of official certificates and works reports are sent on request for Low Voltage. All M.V. elements are supplied with a works test report.
